Magna MB01 Tyres Completed Two Years Without Any Damages

Egypt is well known of their large port terminals, and this one has chosen to use our Magna MB01 tyres in size 16.00-25. These tyres already completed two full years without any damages. The 16.00-25 Magna MB01 tyres are mounted on a rubber tyred gantry crane, which is used for the transport of containers. Within these two years the RTG crane made a lot of rides to ground or stack containers. The tyres were monitored on a regular basis, from the date of mounting until the last inspection in April 2019 and still performing without any damages. This performance will result into a very long tread life and reduction in the cost price per hour to operate the RTG crane.

The Magna MB01 is designed for use on RTG cranes, straddle-carriers, reach stackers and container handlers running in all-round port handling conditions. Protection of the sidewall and optimal flotation are enhanced by the wide shoulder design. The tread compound provides excellent performance against cutting and abrasion.
