Duties are as outlined, but not limited to:

  • Successfully completes monthly closing cycles to properly reflect the financial position of the Canadian and US offices
  • Performs financial analysis and reconciliations
  • Submit reports and analysis to head office in Netherlands
  • Reports on Cash flow, Forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Implement best practice procedures and controls Supporting A/P & A/R as required to deal with issues
  • Monitors and reports on local legislation
  • Tax Filings (Canada and US)
  • Communicating with Head Office Finance Department, external parties, tax authorities and advisors
  • Monitors and works with receivables and payables, bank accounts and reporting on cash requirements/status
  • Special projects and reports as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • Completed financial education at a minimum Bachelor level
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of applicable regulations and legislation in the field of business economics;
  • Good command of the English language
  • Experience with SAP a bonus
