Event Manager
Magna Tyres is rapidly growing and expanding. Our Marketing team, which operates from our HQ in Waalwijk, is expending as well and is seeking an Event Manager. This dynamic and fast-paced role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Your job summary:
As an Event Manager you will play a crucial role in planning, organising, and executing various types of events, ranging from corporate conferences and trade shows to internal employee events within Magna Tyres. The primary responsibilities of an Event Manager include:
- Collaborating with agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Developing event concepts, themes, and timelines. Researching and selecting suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
- Coordinating all logistical aspects of the event, from audio-visual requirements till all necessay permits .
- Sourcing and managing relationships with various vendors and suppliers, such as caterers and decorators.
- Collaborating with marketing and communications teams to develop event promotion strategies.
- Overseeing all aspects of event execution and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost efficiency.
- Providing regular reports on budget status and financial performance.
- Conducting post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders.
- Analysing data and metrics to measure event performance and identify areas for improvement.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / International Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in event management software and tools.
- Budgeting and financial management skills.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Problem-solving and ability to unburden sales staff before and during tradeshows.
- You are available for frequent international travelling (mainly in Europe).
- Your home base is our Magna Tyres HQ in Waalwijk, the Netherlands.
- Entrepreneur with a can-do mentality.
