Global Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a fulltime Global Supply Chain Manager to optimize all operational processes and to lead the Purchasing, Logistics and Customer Service team at our headquarters in Waalwijk.

The position
In this position you will become part of the Management Team and report directly to the COO. You manage the Purchasing, Logistics and Customer Service. In addition, you also oversee the correct interpretation and implementation of the processes related to Purchasing, Logistics and Customer Service within the branch offices worldwide within the Magna Tyres Group.

Your job:

  • You will lead the teams mentioned above;
  • You will optimize global transportation and 3rd party warehousing processes and rates; Finding synergy between the branches. Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate individuals and ensure compliance;
  • You will optimize the production process and production planning for all Magna Tyres Group sites;
  • You will oversee the quick and correct processing of sales orders, keeping customers well informed of the status of their order at all times.
  • You will optimize purchasing conditions and procurement planning related to suppliers of strategic goods and services for Magna Tyres Group.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or master degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience including extensive knowledge of international logistics and the tyre industry.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
  • Very proficient with Microsoft Office and automated systems (preferably SAP);
  • Analytical thinking skills, coordinating abilities, good ability to set priorities;
  • Stress resistant, flexible, performance and customer oriented;
  • Good leadership skills, able to deal with different cultures and characters;
  • Willingness to travel internationally to visit Magna branch offices and production sites.
