The Importance of On-Site Performance Checks

Recently, one of our sales managers visited a customer in Germany to conduct an on-site performance check on a batch of Magna MA08 tires that have been in use for over a year.

At Magna Tyres, we prioritize building strong partnerships and maintaining close relationships with our customers. Our sales managers frequently travel to meet clients in person rather than relying solely on phone or email communication. During this visit, our sales manager also discussed an upcoming order for a new fleet of vehicles.

The visit provided an ideal opportunity to inspect a previous order of Magna MA08 tires installed on a wheel loader in early 2021. We are pleased to report that these tires are still performing excellently and have significant tread life remaining.

Tire Degradation Monitoring

We take pride in the quality of our tires and often receive reports of our products exceeding expected wear performance. While we frequently hear from satisfied customers globally, we also conduct our own research to validate these claims. This typically involves behind-the-scenes evaluations during customer visits. We assess the vehicle’s distance traveled, operating terrain, and compare these factors to the tread depth of the tires. We also inquire about any issues or notable experiences with the tires’ lifespan.

Measuring tread depth and inspecting tires for damage or deviations after real-world use is crucial for us. It allows our development team to compare real-world results with test data. Tire wear is influenced by various factors such as environment, weather, usage, and load capacity. We also provide guidance on maximizing tire life. Our tires are tested to withstand extreme conditions, from the intense desert heat in the Middle East to the heavy-duty demands of the world’s largest ports. We collect performance data to continuously improve our products and support our customers more effectively.
