What do PCR, TBR and OTR Mean?
PCR Tyres: passenger car radials
PCR stands for Passenger Car Radial tyres. These fit standard passenger vehicles. Nothing more complex than that. You’ll often hear them simply called “tyres” because their application is so specific.
A related term is PLT (Passenger and Light Truck). This category includes both PCR tyres and light truck tyres. Don’t confuse PLT light truck tyres with TBR tyres though. PLT tyres use a semi-steel construction that delivers comfortable driving. Common sizes include 185/65R14 and 215/60R16.

TBR Tyres: Built for Commercial Work
TBR means Truck, Bus and Radial tyres. You’ll find these on commercial vehicles that transport goods and passengers. The construction differs significantly from passenger car tyres.
TBR tyres feature all-steel wire construction. This design delivers superior load-bearing capacity. Your trucks carry heavier loads with better durability. The industry sometimes calls these “commercial tyres” because of their widespread use in commercial transport.
We produce TBR tyres in multiple sizes. Popular options include 13R22.5, 12.00R20 and 325/95R24. Our TBR range is engineered specifically for off-road truck operations. The wide, deep tread pattern extends tyre life significantly. You reduce replacement frequency and lower your total cost of ownership.
OTR Tyres: Engineered for Extreme Conditions
OTR stands for Off-The-Road tyres. These are the giants. Dump trucks, loaders, graders and other heavy machinery rely on OTR tyres to perform in demanding environments. Mining sites, ports, terminals and construction zones are their natural habitat.
Size matters in OTR applications. We offer sizes ranging from 16.00R25 to 29.5R25 and beyond. Each tyre is designed with deep tread depth and heat-resistant rubber compounds. Your machines operate longer between replacements. Downtime decreases. Productivity increases.
OTR tyres must withstand extreme loads and harsh surfaces. Rocks, mud, debris and temperature fluctuations are part of daily operations. Our compounds and construction methods address these challenges directly. You get consistent performance across all off-road applications.
